Participation in external organisations

Redeia actively participates in the main debate forums on corporate governance with the main listed companies, investors and experts both nationally and internationally, which gives it the opportunity to know the perspective of the different stakeholders and share their own experience.

Some of the most prominent organisations in the field of corporate governance in which Redeia participates as an active member, are:

  • International Corporate Governance Network (ICGN), premier international entity that promotes the development of global corporate governance practices amongst large institutional investors, companies, financial intermediaries and academics. Its aim is to facilitate dialogue and international promotion of corporate governance. It is one of the leading international organisations worldwide, and brings together some 600 members from 50 countries.
     
  • Emisores Españoles, a Spanish non-profit entity whose member companies represent over 50% of the Spanish stock market and 60% of the IBEX 35 index, which aims to contribute to the development of high standards in corporate governance matters
