Workshops on light at the Science Museum of Castilla-La Mancha

Red Eléctrica holds exhibitions and workshops in museums with the objective of publicising how the Spanish electricity system functions and raising public awareness regarding an efficient and responsible consumption of electricity in order to promote a sustainable energy model.

In 2015, Red Eléctrica collaborated with the Culture and Sports Foundation of Castilla-La Mancha in order to carry out a series of actions and workshops in this autonomous community related to the contribution of light to society in areas as key as energy, education, health and communication.

To do this, during Science Week (10 to 13 November), scientific dissemination activities based on light were conducted in lecture rooms of the Science Museum of Castilla-La Mancha, in Cuenca, and in the science museums of Albacete, Ciudad Real, Guadalajara and Santa Cruz de Toledo. In all of them, every day 4 workshops were held in the morning for schools and two in the afternoon for the general public.
