The appointment of Roberto García Merino in May 2019 as CEO was carried out following the guidelines that ensure an orderly and reasonable succession in the current corporate system for the separation of powers between the Chairperson of the Board of Directors (non-executive Chairperson of the Company) and the CEO, a system that constitutes an international model of good corporate governance.
