- Red Eléctrica's parent company has contributed over €10,000 towards the purchase of necessary furniture

The Municipal Council of Letur (Albacete) has resumed operations at its tourist office, which was severely damaged by the DANA (a high-altitude atmospheric depression that causes severe storms) that affected the east of the Iberian Peninsula on 29th October.
The municipality, recently included in the 'Most Beautiful Villages in Spain' network, has relocated the new tourist office to premises adjoining the Town Hall. To achieve this, it has relied on assistance from Redeia, which contributed just over €10,000 towards the acquisition of the necessary furniture.
The request for this contribution to equip a new office came from the Mayor of Letur, Sergio Marín. To make it possible, Redeia and the Municipal Council signed a collaboration agreement last March.
The reopening of the Tourist Office in early May is a significant milestone for Letur, where inclusion in the 'Most Beautiful Villages in Spain' network could be an important asset for the local economy.
This collaboration is part of Redeia's Comprehensive Impact Strategy, which aims to leave a positive social and environmental legacy in the territories where it operates.
