Red Eléctrica is committed to the local communities where its facilities are located by collaborating on actions that contribute to improving the well-being of people and their municipalities, and through support for the protection of basic needs, promotion of sport and healthy habits and the preservation of their culture.

In 2018, Red Eléctrica renewed its annual collaboration with the National Theatre of Catalonia as co-sponsor. This support started in the 2010-2011 season and consists of participating in the institution’s projects by sponsoring the theatre’s cultural activities each year.

The objective is to support the dissemination of culture with an offering that combines great theatrical productions with more innovative initiatives, with special attention on putting on new authors.
