Collaboration with local governments for the recovery and improvement of green spaces.

Red Eléctrica collaborates with the local communities in which its facilities are located through actions for the conservation of their natural environment, with the aim to promote sustainable rural development and biodiversity conservation.

Red Eléctrica has been collaborating since 2016 with Marmolejo Town Council on reforestation and planting of gardens in the Paseo de la Libertad and Casa del Médico in the Marmolejo Spa.

The action mainly focuses on recovering the botanical species still preserved in the enclosed setting. The main aim of the project is to return the garden to the botanical richness that made it famous in the late 19^th century, at the height of the spring’s splendour.
