Red Eléctrica Forest - The Carballeda Forest (Zamora)

Recovery of degraded natural areas and the offsetting of greenhouse gas emissions through the planting of trees. Support for training and local employment.

Results
  • Planting a new 55 hectare forest; with an investment of 172,000 euros. The restoration was done using Scots pine.
  • During 2016, various environmental awareness activities will be carried out in several schools in the area.
