Satellite radio-tracking of the Golden Eagle in Navarra
Obtain knowledge of the foraging areas and use of the space occupied by pairs of nesting Golden Eagles in the territories of Leitza and Montes del Cierzo (Tudela).
Results
- Capture and fitting with radio equipment with GPS/Argos transmitters of three breeding Golden Eagles: a female eagle named Haizea (Montes del Cierzo territory), a male eagle named Hegoi (Ribera de Navarra territory) reported as having died in 2017 and a third male eagle named Keiles from the Ribera de Navarra territory.
- Radio-tracking of the fitted Golden Eagles for a minimum period of 24 months
