EntreREDes: education geared towards a sustainable energy model

EntreREDes is a digital game created by Red Eléctrica in 2015 as an educational tool for students of secondary school (ESO) which allows them to better understand how the electricity system works in a fun and interactive way. In addition, the game offers added value since students can, at the same time, review the contents of the school curriculum learnt in class.

EntreREDes is a question and answer game that allows players to take a virtual tour of Spain. Players travel along the main power lines and substations of the electricity transmission grid as they correctly answer specific questions on six different subjects (Physics and Chemistry; Geography and History; Language and Literature; Mathematics; the electricity sector and leisure). The Royal Academy of the Spanish language has reviewed the texts of the game, ensuring correct use of Spanish.

The company considers that a community which is well informed from school age is better prepared to select a sustainable system and to develop it and maintain it in future societies. The aim is for children to be efficient, environmentally friendly future consumers who contribute to system sustainability through their actions.
